2016 Winner Shinju Art Awards:

This piece is a picture of myself, I painted the top half of my face to represent our connection to culture and land, who we are and the blood that has spilt over history. I painted the bottom of my face white to represent white culture and glued the zipper on, this represents being silenced and having to conform to white society.
